Fiction and fantasy both imagine different worlds based on science or magic—they can have cool gadgets or fantastical creatures, but they always explore new worlds and have amazing adventures! Join us as we take a portal to experience the different elements of science fiction and fantasy!

About this Location

The Mayfair Library was established in 1952 in the basement of the Mayfair Community Hall. By 1989, the building was no longer suitable for the library and the basement location presented accessibility problems. The current Mayfair Library was reopened in 1991, on the same site, after a one-year break in service during construction.
