Need an ounce of poetic inspiration? In this three-part workshop, take heart from the spiritual and mystical struggle of poets that resulted in fascinating work.
In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to develop and burnish their creative writing skills with an editor and published poet as their guide. You will receive and be encouraged to think about examples of poetry that shows signs of a spiritual struggle, mysticism or correspondence with the unknown. You may even find your own fount of poetic inspiration!
Please bring a sample of your poetry to the first workshop and be prepared to share your work with others in a respectful setting.
This workshop will be led by SPL's Writer in Residence, Garry Thomas Morse.
