Rene & Glumfoot in The Café at the Edge of the Woods
Mikey Please
Rene's dreams have finally come true! She's opened a café beside an enchanted wood, and with the help of a newfound waiter, Glumfoot, she is ready to serve the finest cuisine! But the locals seem to favour a most peculiar palette, requesting all sorts of disgusting things. Can Glumfoot's quick thinking save the day?
At this event you will design your own ogre, learn some proper table etiquette and design a meal from Rene’s recipe book but with Glumfoot’s creative input.
The Alice Turner Library replaced the smaller Sutherland Branch in December 1998. It was named after Alice Turner McFarland who was a library employee for 37 years and Saskatoon Public Library's chief librarian from 1981 to 1989. The first library in Canada to be built to the standards of C-2000 construction, Canada's environmental building code, the Alice Turner Library was expanded to double its original size in 2013.
