MentorAbility creates opportunities for short-term mentorship experiences between “matched” mentees (individuals experiencing disabilities) and local employment service providers. The mentorship will give a “matched” mentee an opportunity to learn more about that workplace/career in their area of interest, therefore increasing their knowledge of that industry/career.

The Mayfair Library was established in 1952 in the basement of the Mayfair Community Hall. By 1989, the building was no longer suitable for the library and the basement location presented accessibility problems. The current Mayfair Library was reopened in 1991, on the same site, after a one-year break in service during construction.
