Looking to continue that thought in your poetry? In this three-part workshop, learn how to sidestep “one night stands” and develop ongoing relationships in your poetic forays.
Want to write a serial poem or poetic sequence?
In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to develop and burnish their creative writing skills with an editor and published poet as their guide. You will receive and be encouraged to think about examples of poetry that carry different kinds of information from poem to poem.
Please bring a sample of your poetry to the first workshop, and be prepared to share your work with others in a respectful setting.
This workshop will be led by Saskatoon Public Library's Writer in Residence, Garry Thomas Morse.
Sessions will be:
Saturday / April 12 / 10:00am - 12:00pm / Rusty Macdonald Library / Auditorium
