A Unicorn, a Dinosaur, and a Shark Walk Into a Book
Jonathan Fenske
While the narrator insists that the characters are in the best book ever, they are all less than impressed and won't cooperate with the storyteller's cues. Can the narrator find a way to convince them to stick around, or will the creatures choose to skedaddle off the page?
At this event, you will create a mix-and-match storybook of your own. We’ll also play some games to discover which character will prevail: a unicorn, a dinosaur or a shark!
The Round Prairie Library opened in 2017 and was named in honour of the La Prairie Round (or Round Prairie) Métis, who were a community of buffalo hunters that established a wintering site near Dakota Whitecap in the late 1800s. In the 1920s and 1930s many in the community were forced to migrate to Saskatoon in search of work, and by the 1940s they had established a permanent and close-knit community near the current site of the library. This library includes an Innovation Lab and Video Game Room.
